CO2-WIN together with the projects P2X, Carbon2Chem and SynErgie will have a booth (Hall 6.0; B36) at the international leading exhibition ACHEMA 2022. Here you can learn more about topics of CO2 utilization, also in combination with the use of hydrogen.
Highlights of our booth at this year's ACHEMA are, for instance, the exhibits from the CO2-WIN projects, the science rally or our publications (e.g. "CO2-NutzungfürDummies"). In addition, we are looking forward to talking to you in person!

Congress program
The ACHEMA 2022 congress will feature a wide range of presentations. This year's highlight sessions also include a part on "Fossil free production", focusing on "carbon neutral production sites", "Power-to-X processes" and "Circular economy of carbon materials".
CO2-WIN Connect is responsible for a session on CO2 utilization on August 23. Location and time of this session can be found in the current congress program.

Of course you know that CO2 harms the climate. But do you also know that CO2 can be put to good use? On our CO2-Science Rally through Hall 6.0 of the ACHEMA trade fair, you will learn new things about carbon dioxide. Find out what can be produced with CO2 today, and what will perhaps only be possible in a few years' time. Does such use make ecological sense? And is it even possible to recover CO2 from the atmosphere?
Students are invited to find the answers to these and other questions at the CO2 Science Rally, and win prices along the way.
The CO2-science rallye is a free offer of the IASS and DECHEMA within the project CO2-WIN Connect.

Carbon dioxide is one of the main causes of climate change. At the same time, CO2 contains carbon that we urgently need in everyday life: for plastics, shampoo, fuel...
Thus, a book on the use of CO2 was published from CO2-WIN Connect as part of the textbook series "for dummies". The book familiarizes you with the basics of CO2 utilization and its sticking points. In addition, the 14 projects of the BMBF funding measure CO2-WIN are presented.
This book has been distributed at our booth at the ACHEMA 2022. The free download of the digital version has been available until end of July 2023. For licensing reasons, the download is no longer available as of this date.
