Plasma-induced generation of carbon monoxide from carbon dioxide
Summary
The PlasCO2 team is using a novel energy source to harness carbon dioxide as a resource. For the first time, low-temperature plasma is being used to convert CO2 with hydrogen into carbon monoxide and synthesis gas. The efficiency of the conversion is being tested in practice in the industrial process of hydroformylation.
